I'm an EIT with a B.ASc in Electrical Engineering from UBC, specializing in drones, robotics, and rapid prototyping. From PCB layout to flight-controller tuning, I take hardware ideas from concept to working prototype — locally, with a trusted network for machining, metal printing, and PCB production.

Worked with a UBC research team (HCI Lab) to develop a drone capable of spinning its outer shell to display video through the persistence-of-vision effect. Designed, sourced, programmed, and flew the drone while also contributing to other research projects.
Built multiple FPV racing drones and competed provincially, qualifying for nationals. High-pressure race environments sharpened skills in rapid electronics diagnosis, repair, and tuning — where any mistake means getting a DNF.
Led electronics selection, wiring, programming, and flight operations on several large-scale UAV Drone platforms with propellers up to 28". Responsible for the full build pipeline from component spec to maiden flight.
Operated a local drone repair business supported by a large Facebook community. Repaired a wide range of consumer and commercial drones, building a strong local reputation and deep familiarity with modern manufacturing approaches used by major brands.
Worked within a UBC Capstone team to design a relay VTOL drone for North Shore Rescue in Vancouver. The aircraft acts as a communications bridge to extend the operational range of DJI drones used by search-and-rescue operators in challenging terrain.
Designed and assembled custom lithium cell battery packs optimised for weight, structural integrity, and non-standard form factors. All tooling and assembly capability is in-house for future builds.
Co-developed an analog heart rate monitor at UBC with visual output display. Responsible for schematic capture, PCB layout, and hand soldering — delivering a clean, functional board within tight academic timelines.
Prototyped, sourced, and assembled the electrical systems for the initial production run of Templar Marine's electric boat line. Extensive testing and iterative troubleshooting were required to meet strict performance specifications.
Designed and developed an ESP32-based smart home device that acts as a combined temperature and humidity sensor while controlling various RGB LED configurations using the open-source WLED library.
